1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Temporal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of Service

Temporal is an AI-powered calendar and task management application that combines tasks, scheduling, and AI planning in one place. The Service is provided "as is" without any guarantees of uptime or feature completeness.

3. Account Registration & Access

Access to the Service requires creating an account. We offer a free trial period after which a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify subscription plans and pricing with reasonable notice to users.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update it as necessary. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful or disruptive content
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and design — are the exclusive property of Temporal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of any data or content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEMPORAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
